John - I'm tuning in also. I would like to see what you do with the road wheels per our conversation on my Jagdpanther. 👍 🙂

Thanks, Anthony! 👍

These particular Sd.Kfz.250 wheels have been handpainted in the meanwhile. But I will start with a fresh set of (Jagd-)Panther wheels to do the test 🙂 I will post the results both here and in your album 👍 🙂

I'm already at part 5 (5th album) of this build at the moment 😄 5. Interior as good as completed | Album by JohnVK (1:35)

Album info

I have started building the Dragon 6427 Sd.Kfz.250/1 Neu half-track.

I simply love these small personnel carriers and all of the variants thereof! Beautiful vehicles IMHO.

At the moment I have no definite plans for a diorama but I'm working on that 😉

As you will see in the pictures, it will be heavily worn. Battered, in fact! Not very realistic for a combat ready vehicle but the current idea for the diorama is that this vehicle has seen very heavy and continuous combat in the Normandy area and thus no chance for any maintenance for quite some time.

I'm still contemplating if I will show the vehicle abandoned and captured by the Allies, or in action still occupied by its German crew.

choices... choices... 😛 hahaha!

Anyway, let's first just see if I can find enough time to do some work on this beauty! 🙂 I'm a SLOW builder, mind you! I work on my kits when I have time and/or when I feel like it, which is why it generally takes me Months to finish anything.

Also, even though I'm a WWII nut and truly
