Anthony Flanagan Okay, I give up! Every time I upload photos i have to redo the photos because when I use them as taken by my phone camera they come out very orientation but the correct one. I will fix this when I go to my computer later. In the meantime anyone who has any suggestions as to what i am doing wrong please let me know. This is getting to be too much like work! :(
27. May at 13:17:01
Nathan Dempsey Same thing happens to me Anthony. Anytime I upload from my phone the orientation is random. When I upload from my computer its a-ok.

27. May at 18:51:11
bossy122 I have noticed that when it turns my pictures over that if I go back and crop the pic a bit, it usually corrects the problem. Don't turn, just trim a little.
27. May at 19:15:00
Anthony Flanagan Bossy - I have had the same experience but never knew what caused the disorientation. For these pictures I turned my IPhone counter-clockwise and they finally came out well the first time round. Still, a real PITA.
27. May at 19:44:41
Derek Ryan Looks excellent, well done. I too had the orientation problem.

Peter Hardy Straight from the factory is ok too Ant!
22. September 2018 at 01:16:24
Anthony Flanagan Peter, yeah I am leaning that way. I find that sometimes I reach level of contentment sooner than I expected. This time I really like how the tracks turned out and would hate to conceal them under dirt and mud.
22. September 2018 at 12:19:35
Daniel Klink Looks great that way Anthony...And no need to rush things... Like it a lot!
22. September 2018 at 12:26:15
Spanjaard your own pace, your own choice :) and have fun with it. we enjoy looking at it.
22. September 2018 at 20:12:23
Peter Hardy Then keep them as a visual interest Ant. Why not? You don't have to make an AFV look like it has just been rescued from the Somme. Take a look at Jim's new Jagdpanzer IV Lang. Nicely weathered and worn but nothing hidden from the viewer's eye.
22. September 2018 at 21:50:39
Anthony Flanagan I just checked out Jim's Jagdpanzer IV Lang and its simply impressive. I still wanna put the side skirts, schurzen, on as a special a feature I have eyed from the start with this kit. I may leave off one or so as wear and tear. Still mulling...
22. September 2018 at 23:18:18
Peter Hardy Mull all you want but don't loose sleep over it. Take a look through Alberto's wall while you are at it. If there is anyone better than him on wearing as opposed to weathering an AFV I don't know of them.

Peter Hardy A Panther? Ok, I'm waiting!
23. July 2018 at 07:35:49
Anthony Flanagan Peter, sorry for the wait but it has been quite the summer. As an update, my last act was to switch out the kit provided tracks for some R Model metal tracks. I have them assembled after some trial and error, hint: go with the pins if you can afford them, and am awaiting Mojo replenishment before going back to them. The Zimmerit was interesting. Let me know should you have questions or comments. Cheers!
12. August 2018 at 18:22:15
Peter Hardy Thanks Ant, I am just about to head off to work so I will go through the builds so far and comment later today. Great to hear from you again!
12. August 2018 at 21:24:01
Peter Hardy I usually use Fruil tracks and I use staples rather that the copper wire that comes with the tracks. The square staples lets you get away with no glue. The zimmerit looks thin and curly, was that an issue?
13. August 2018 at 02:45:14
Anthony Flanagan Peter - regarding the tracks, I need to try Fruil. I liked the details of R Model tracks but that steel wire was a bit of a "B" as it was a very snug fit. I had to measure my wire inserts to get as near possible flush finishes. Then when trying to push the wire through by hand I poked wholes in my fingers so I had to use pliers to pull the wire down. I have since managed a fair job putting a Patina finish to the tracks which I will post pretty soon. As to the Zimmerit decals curling, I found that the decals would not adhere in some places (not many but enough to illicit swearing). The only thing that would work in those places is super clue. The curved surfaces (see bow machine gun, and turret/gun mantlet) were really difficult.
