Three pictures of the opening of this project: very classically Special Hobbies Re.2005 starts with the cockpit. A mixture of rather rustic plastic parts and some etched part refinements give an idea of the narrowness of these Italian cockpits.

In the model-building process, you first find out what a beautifully designed aircraft the Re. 2005 was! Special hobbies shapes are doing well, which leads to a so far pleasant and uncomplicated building pleasure.

Preshading as pre-lighting have been done; now the sleak Reggiane fighter is ready for the underside colour, which will be mixed from Gunze paints according to Special Hobbys advices.

Beside the Bf 108 the Reggiane has been finished quietly - but the appearance is anything but quiet: during the construction I was more and more enthusiastic about the racy forms; I personally think that the Re.2005 can pose well and can be called photogenic!
