Wouldn´t it be nice to sit together with some mates? Modeling and talking with each other in real? Looking everyone over his shoulder to see how he is building?
Well, again you can!
In march 2014 you are all invited to visit Wangerooge and do some modeling here. We have a wonderful venue, with a view over the sea. Its an artist´s room, directly at the boardwalk and perfect for our purposes. Your accomodation can be a B&B, a Hotel or an Appartment. You are free to choose it.
The timeframe is 17.03.2014 till 23.03.2014, so we have a whole week of modeling before us.
If you need some help to book an accomodation, shiptickets or flighttickets, just drop me an email (h.kranich at live.de) and i´ll help you!
Here you will find some additional help to book online: www.westturm.de
There are no restrictions about what to build. Aircraft´s, Helo´s, Ships or Tanks, just bring the kit you want to build and don’t forget to bring your paints, glue and other stuff you need to finish your model! If you like to do airbrushing, please bring your own airbrush and compressor with you.

it depends on how you define "close". Distance between Berlin and Wangerooge (Island in the North Sea) is more than 460 kilometers (285 miles).

Holger KranichHalle Ihr beiden! Schön das Ihr es heile nach Hause geschafft habt! Als neuen Termin hab ich mal grob die Woche nach Karneval geplant. Hab nur noch keinen Fährplan für die Zeit sonst könnte ich schon was genaueres sagen...
Es war super Euch hier gehabt zu haben und Euch über die Schultern schauen zu dürfen!

Jonns Pfeiffenbergerhielt sich stark in Grenzen. Habe extra noch die Terasse gesichert, als um halb 10 abends der Wind am Rolladen angeklopft hat, aber Schäden auf dem Weg in die Stadt habe ich nicht gesehen

Christian LehmannIch hoffe es ist noch ein Platz für mich frei. Wenn alles klappt, komme ich zusammen mit Frank. Der wohnt nur 25km km von mir entfernt.
Das wird auch für mich spannend, wenn ich außerhalb meiner gewohnten Umgebung basteln muß.

Holger KranichHey Lemmy! Noch ist Platz da. Aber so langsam muss ich mir Sorgen machen dass es nicht zu voll wird. Ich hätte nicht gedacht dass Frank so viel gute Werbung macht, und bis jetzt schon so viel super Modellbauer zugesagt haben!😢 Notfalls werde ich einfach einen Raum ein paar Meter weiter mieten denn der ist dann noch etwas größer und dort werden wir uns dann auch ausleben können!

Haus Kpt. Keil hat mir den gleichen Preis angeboten wie dieses Jahr und ich hab gleich gebucht mit Anreise am Montag, aber vielleicht trudel ich dann schon Sonntags ein. Mal schauen. Ist noch ein bischen hin.
