Hello everyone,

I am finally getting back into building after a long gap. I am planning on building a few test kits before tacking the monogram Do-217 (see stash). Any advice on this kit? seems rather rare and ideas on good extras for this bird? Thanks.

Raised panel lines? If you want to try rescribe, I suggest trying out Paul Budzik's method of rescribing into the layer of primer paint and not the plastic. Much easier and looks better than scribing into plastic. I have not tried this on a full project, but I certainly will after testing scribing into a painted surface and not plastic. I've bought some stiff masking "tape" (adhesive plastic strip) for future scribing projects.

No, there is no raised panel lines. Looking mainly for extras and some advice.

That Monogram Do217 is fairly nice out of the box and has great engraved panel lines. I know there's an engine set from CMK and Eduard photo-etch sets for this kit, but since its an older kit you may have to find that stuff on Ebay at this point. The kit is not that bad out of the box though.
