Rudolph got some colour, so far so good !!
Started with the Lozenge
Part two of the lozenge; getting straight lines at all the edges will need some touch up...
Part three... now it's clear where I missed some spots...
As Freddy Mercury used to sing "I'm going slighly mad...."

Fitting the outer struts....

After adding the inner struts, the construction becomes really stiff. Interesting to see how that works, even on this small scale

Not finished, but at least all parts are in place !!
The colours are a little darker than the instructions indicated, but I think it looks good.

The pilot must have had a pretty good view from the cockpit I suppose

Dryfitting
Tight fit with two men, but it works
First coat of wood
Needs some lighter coloured dry brushing to add texture
Tarp is too yellow and needs white dry brush. Texture is nicely molded.
Horses are now too bright, but I didn't want to start too dark
Wagon is done, happy with the result
Found a photo of the original, or at least a similar size wagon.

Colour of the horses is better now, but still need work (brown wash).
If it doesn't work out, I'll start all over again with one of the other sprues.

Bas TonnThe white background with the boxes is the standard decal from Revell 😉
All that I have to do is paint the correct little box....

Bas TonnYes, It's rather simple. The edges of the wings need some attention i think (the decals are too big, so you have make them fit)

Bas Tonnnot so much 😉 this revell kit comes with a full size (oversize?) decal with the pattern, so it's basicly painting-by-numbers
