I've been mucking about with model kits (with varying degrees of success) since I was eight or nine and got my first Airfix Concorde back in the early 70s and am still mucking about with 'em, still with varying degrees of success. 😉

- science fiction-related kits/subjects
- Star Trek (TOS, TMP, TNG eras)
- Battlestar Galactica (TOS and NuBSG)
- Space: 1999, UFO
- Stargate Atlantis (Scratch-building projects)
- CJ Cherryh Alliance-Compact Universe (scratch-builds)

Still have completed kits from the late 1970s on through the 1980s on the shelves (which are due for replacement or refurbishment), along with a sizeable hoard of boxed kits waiting to be built.

Really good at gathering kits and supplies to properly tart them up; not so good at actually getting them done in any sort of timely fashion.
