Ilmavoimat MiG-21
Almost ready to close the fuselage
Nice cockpit out of box, nose cone is modified
Cockpit still needs a seat and pilot
Plumbing behind the cockpit was way more than I thought. Scratchbuilt
My cardboard easy rig. Does the job!
It's an easy build, good fit! But you can always do better.
Wings attached!
Coolest fuel tank ever.

It's pretty much like photo 17. I'm slowly applying different shades of aluminium. If Iset myself to it, it shouldn't take long, but I'm doing a lot of different projects right now.

Okay... why did you used two layers of primer...? When using the Alclad metals, the Gloss Black should be enough...I am curious about your reason for that. Never had problems with the Alclad Gloss Black on fresh plastic and the Alclad metals on top of it.

Very nice Klaas! A beautiful early MIG 21!
Will do also this one the MF the SMT and bis version. PFM is already done. All from Eduard so far, beautiful kits!
How is this one?
By the way picture 1 is cool👍🏻!

Thanks, people. @Jos: I don't remember why I used grey primer earlier. Maybe I thought it would fill scratches better then the gloss black.
@Konrad: Trumpeter has a good fit. I had no issues with this kit. For a real nice one you can detail the kit some more. I found a lot of reference pics so I adjusted some details on the kit. It's all there in my pictures.
