And I have just purchased one being inspired by Thomas's model... hope I my skills will be enough to build something acceptable 😉
Thank you mates, big fun with the build despite the kit! i am happy now! 🙂

Hello mates, my Tomcat number 4, built 1978. First generation Tomcats from Hasegawa had shape problems around the cockpit...obviously!
lovely!!, always liked the marking-era that the mid-70's brought...
Thanks, Andy! New pics now! Flaps and slats are handmade, crew borrowed from 2 old Monogram Eagles...
pristine t/cat...love it!!

This is the Hatzerim display aircraft (714 was 4. airframe built) from 1976 flown to perfection. This kit is far better than that from Italeri, that i built also as F-21A. Finished June 1999. Here high heels with empty tanks after landing. The drag chute container cap is resting somewhere in the sand. Thats typical Mirage!! Sorry copied Kfir... 🙂

Hello mates, i completed this build in 1979, so this models paint is 42 years old!
Is this not a A-6A ???
Early built A-6E, BuNo 158532, see Microscale decals and pictures (In action etc.)... deployment to Vietnam...today preserved on USS Lexington... Your Skycrane is really hot!!! 🙂
Oliver, not the all A-6E was equipped with TRAM-turret.
The build is old as me 🙂
I think, it's a good build and nice work. And rarely seen A-6E without TRAM.
And older than me 😄 Nice to see the pre-weathering era build 👍
The tail is cool too, looks like orange A6 to me 😉
Yes! Thanks Istvan and Lukasz!
Red Orange decals for 1972 VA-65 "The World Famous Fighting Tigers"🙂
Good Morning guys, thank for all your answers and @ Thomas it makes me proud that you like my Skycrane so much 🙂
My goodness, I've scrapped two built collections since this model was built! Then again I was only a year old when you built this too. lol
