Such a shame that no mainstream manufacturers do any RAF "Heavies".There is a Hampden out there which I have in the stash but is dire and my skills will not do it justice.

Thank you for your kind comments.
@ David Taylor : that is the mission of Airfix, and i am still waiting for THE Halifax Mk.I, hoping they will ask this job to the A team and not to B or C one like they did for their last Mosquito... I guess we have the same Hampden kit (Valom ?), it should not be an easy one but as i like very much Bomber Command... Next one will be a Wellington i believe, the wonderful Airfix kit !

I am just building a "Wimpey" and I can confirm it is wonderful kit.

Album info

Airfix kit, built in 2020. Overall very good kit, with some minor mistakes, and a big one that no one shall see unless studying pictures carefully... You will discover it when thinking about positionning the leading edge position lights. Ailerons are a bit wider and a rib is missing : so you don't position the position light at the same place whether you refer to the aileron's end or to the leading edge. I'm not sure i explain it clearly but you will understand when you will face parts and pics.
