Good work Roger! BTW I smoke the same brand and often use the box(85x55 mm) for size reference when taking pictures in Military History Museum in Sofia.

In the first picture the STAP is suspended on a single wire. What did you use for that and can it hold the total weight?

Hi Parick. Its a 2mm brass tube. It holds the STAP nicely, but together with the weight of the Droid the whole Stap will bend backwards. It won't fall over, but wont be upright. I guess if u screw the foot and stap together, it might hold. But i never fully glued those parts together, only with tape...

OK, thanx for the explanation. I'm playing with the idea to suspend a helicopter on it's 'sling rope' and am thinking about what materials to use.

What scale wil the helicopter be? Perhaps a steel rod will help?

A 1/72 Chinook. I'm aware to let it hover as close to the ground as possible to minimise the swinging of the rope(s). That's the nice thing about Chinooks, there are up to three hooks to use.
