I think it's ok for the first time.

but I wasn't able to get in around the engine intakes. So they are brush-painted. (perhaps they need a 3rd layer tomorrow)

The decals are on

Album image #19
Most decals went on very easy,..

Album image #20
...but the decals with big black spots didn't react well to decal softer (I had to keep the Eddy wet for about 6 houres to get the decal into the panel lines with an toothpick) ...

Album image #21
...what caused paint damaged by the softer at multiple spots. I think I wil first protekt the decals with varnish before repairing the demage

Album image #22
I touched up the damaged paintwork with a brush.

Album image #23
Slight weathering, only a wash of grey-brown oil paint has been applied.

Album image #24
I test-fitted the undercarriages with PVA glue to check that all wheels touch the ground. Once again the kit surprises with its excellent accuracy of fit, the undercarriage legs attached to the fuselage are about 2 mm too short.

Now I have to think about whether and how to either lengthen or shorten the main undercarriages so that all the wheels touch the ground. In hindsight, I should probably have ordered the kit from Dragon at the latest when I did the first dry-fit tests.

That wheel gap, 2 mm too short, is there anything you can do?

Since the undercarriage bays have hardly any details anyway and are hardly visible, I will probably simply make spacers from sheet and extend the undercarriage that way.

I can't wait to see the "fix" in place.

Wow, great model Nicolas! The weathering makes it so much more realistic, my Ed Force One model is way too clean ..
