Steering...how?

John, the tracks used the existing steering and braking on the Ford model T. The tracks and wheels were interchangeable and could be swapped out when desired. An ingenious system. Two patents were awarded for the design in the early 1920s.

Thanks, Brian! I presume the steering worked the brakes on either side rather than turned the wheels when in tracked mode.

John, from what I read, yes the brakes worked the same with the wheels or the tracks.
