I was just thinking today while working on my F-4B, that it was about time for me to build another "CAT" , I only have a closet full of them. My oroginal idea was to build one in the markings of every squadron that flew them. So I have a closet full of them. LOL.

I too am guilty of a closet full of Tomcats Clifford! It is a disease, me buying them. LOL I can't even begin to imagine how bad it will get once the (what should be amazing) AMK Tomcat comes out!

Who is coming out with a new one? I have a lot of Acadmey ones and of course the Revell "A" and "D". I think I keep Steel Beach and True details in business buying up grades for my Revell F-14s and F-4s. LOL.

AMK (AvantGarde Model Kits), the maker of the amazing new MiG-31 in 1/48, is coming out with a new tool F-14 Tomcat in 1/48 sometime in 2016. If AMK's recent offerings are any indicator, this Tomcat should be ridiculously awesome. They are also coming out with a new tool 1/48 MiG-25 at some point late this year or early next.

Thanks for the coment. I'm glad You like it.
I followed instruction sheet for the colors and it's FS35237 for the top and FS36375 for the bottom. The tail was a mix of 40% black and 60% FS36375.
I hope this was helpful.
