Ultra thin plastic tubing.

Album image #1
I ordered these items to help in replicating the complex brake line and sensor system on the front of my Repsol Honda. These tubes come in 'std' 'micro' 'midge' and different colours, but I got blk & clr.

The scalpel blade will give an idea of the actual size/thickness.

The lines here are complex and there are lines inside of lines. Three in all.

Album image #8
The 'line' closest to the camera has a cable inside a clear tube, and a sensor connector on the one behind. I am about to have a heap of fun.

These items are astounding in their own right. I have NEVER seen anything so small.

Album image #11
These I will be able to use as the fastening screws for the clear wind shield on the fairing of the Tamiya MotoGp Repsol Honda I am building.

The "Acorn" headded nuts.

A little closer for some better detail.

This is the 'braided' cable for what ever you need fine braided line for.

Album image #17
This would be ideal for biplane rigging.

about pic 8, why not simply inject some black paint inside of the transparent tube? it should look pretty close.... and a lot easier than inserting a cable i think.....

Yes. The potential for the uses of this stuff is boundless. I have also just received some of the smallest hex and acorn headed nuts plus some screws. This is the link to RB Motion web site. what he has there will blow your mind. rbmotion.com

Oh, very interesting! May be this micro tubing could be used for rigging of biplanes in grey, black or rust. At the moment I use 0,4mm/0,2mm brass. As far as I understand its on outside 0,3..0,4mm, whats the inside diameter or wall thickness? Can it be glued using CA? Thx!

Bughunter, Uschi has all your rigging needs, here is the link. uschivdr.com/

I use that flexible rigging material, but for connection to the Gaspatch turnbuckles I need small pieces of tube. Now I use brass, but this micro tube is may be a option, that's why I ask. Uschi recommends 0,5mm brass pipes for 1/32, but I build 1/48. Thx.

hi bughunter, i would love the help, but i am out of town for a few days. if you send me a message in a week, i will check the packaging, or measure myself the different micro tubes
i got the tools to provide the outside diameter with good precision, but inside diameter will be a different business....

Album info

Theis is not a model but something you might find useful.
I saw a modeller using this stuff for the ignition and brake lines on a car and a bike, so I just had to get some and it is mainly used by fly fishermen to tie their flyes.
