Don't be too hard on yourself, these are not bad! You may want to try experimenting with detailing the panel lines (if they are raised I use the preshading technique). Cheers!

Nothing wrong with these models, if you ask me - as Tom said, they need just a touch of accentuating some details and weathering, if you find it interesting...

Hey mate, talent is passion and fun. And a eye for details.
I can see these details and I think you had fun building them.
THt are some really nice kits you've build.

You're all very kind! I intend to practice weathering with oils to emulate some of the fantastic I've seen on here!

That's what this site is all about. There are lots of good modellers on this site and i've learned quite a lot on this site. 🙂

One of the things I saw, which we all should take into account as part of good modeling, is seam lines. Super glues and a variety of sanders (cheap manicuring supplies are as good as anything that Squadron puts out), or you can use Tamiya fillers (expensive but very good), to get rid of the seam lines. Otherwise, like the others have said, have fun, try different techinques that work for you, and strive for perfection without contracting the dreaded AMS.

Seems like you got the decal technique down.

Stupid question, but what is AMS?

I dont think I have AMS yet, but getting back into the hobby is bringing out my hoarding skills - I'm running out of space at a rapid rate! 🙂

Well you nearly have a carrier air group at home! Thats cool!
Your models have room for improvement (mine too!) but your on the right way, i think!

Album info

I am by no means a talented modeler - look away if you are easily offended - most of these are pretty bad.

I have limited resources - but I am looking to improve my techniques - all comments will be gratefully received.
