Final
Very bad fit with nose and engine nacelles.
Tamiya white putty to the rescue along with 320 grit sandpaper and water of course..
gunze 1500 black primer thinned with lacquer thinner.
fixed a couple of places leftover from the previous putty and sanding phase.
a little bit of panel lines here and there, no riveting needed since the kit has the most promiment ones already.
finally given a gentle wipe with 3m fine pad + tap water to polish it all up.

sure looks like a bat.
next stop painting RLM74 RLM75 RLM76. q is to start with which one? i don't bother with naming conventions so this is not going to be black basing etc. i just needed a contrasting primer color with the plastic and white putty that's all.
besides not really interested to pull a paintjob like the me410 had. first i am not in the mood due to a number of reasons which this lackluster eduard kit being one, second me410 and this both are very similar ac having the identical camo colors and shapes.... so you get the idea.
i am thinking of starting with RLM75 from gunze on topside, then do the green followed by the light blue and the mottles on the sides with a final light blue filter to blend them. we'll see.
one problem with lw aircraft with mottles is the mottle placement vs. the markings. i mean which came first? there is only 1 ref photo of this particular beast and it's impossible to tell whether they did mottle around the markings or markings and the 'tika simply came on top of the paintjob.

Topside mostly finished, just need to blend the mottles back into the light blue.
RLM74 graugrün: gunze c123+c301 1/1. don't take it as ref because no matter what i tried i simply couldn't turn the green off. imho it should be more subdued than this but i suspect 75 is throwing it off - both colors simply became indistinguishable so i upped the green back. i painted it 3 times with various mixes as you can see from the patchy appearance and said f* it in the end...
RLM75 grauviolet: gunze h69 neat tho i think it should be a bit more blueish. if germans called it violet then it's gotta be violet, period.
RLM76 lichtblau: vallejo mc 153+108 1/1
all paints thinned with generic lacquer thinner, yes even the vallejos. mottles are done with a sparmax 20x airbrush with as low the psi could go and thinner tinted with paint, not the other way around.

decals over tamiya gloss clear. nothing to mention.
id band is tamiya yellow over tamiya orange.
next stop semigloss clear for wx.

end note: bad kit due to lots of fit issues and flash everywhere.

Enjoy the sanding 😉 . It's looks like it's going to be great build none the less?.

That's a stunner mate, really impressive looking 110. Makes me want to dig mine out now 👍
