Thanks Helerson. The truth is that the figure and the kit are not the best we can find today. I did what I could with them.

..This is the second time I?ve noticed this today. Maybe I?m just becoming more aware of this kind of stuff. But I?ve noticed how here and on Lutz Bertelmann?s fine looking Leopard the way light, dust colors are used in recesses where I would ordinarily use a dark shade of some kind as a pin wash. Learn something every day here at ScaleMates! Going to have to think about this??
The diorama is great, but it distracted me from the great, great job done on the AFV. Thanks for posting Jesus!

Thanks mates! You are very kind.

John, I really appreciate your comment because that's exactly what happens to me sometimes. In the end it seems this is what modelling is about... learning on your own and from others.

You are right about the tank, it's better than the figure. I still have a long way to go to get those 'plastic dwarfs" right. 🙂

Album info

A small scene I finished a couple of years ago. I set it somewhere in Manchuria in 1939. The title I chose is a Japanese word for 'glory'.

The tank is Zvezda's old contemptible OT-26 (T-26, chemical tank) and the figure came from the Masterbox set for Japanese soldiers, modified to suit the action.

Thanks for looking!
