Nice Zipper! Does the Hasegawa kit contain the shorter -C tail?

Thanks, @Mid Franconian! To answer your question, no, it doesn't. I had some trouble finding an A or C kit. There's the Academy reboxing of the Revell kit, which I have, but I want to build that one OOB someday. So I built the one-seater from Hasegawa's CF-104 & CF-104D "Starfighters" double kit. The tail needed to be resized and rescribed, and the fairings on the nose landing gear doors needed to removed and squared off. It also had the wrong ejection seat. I reshaped that somewhat so that it at least had the same general profile as the early down-firing seat, but it was pretty crude... thus the closed canopy. I also had to trim and sand off some various bits and bobs that weren't on this aircraft, though I admit that I may have missed a few. None of this was particularly difficult though.

Thank you! You did a great job on this 104 especially by converting it to a -C. Reminds me that I have the same Caracal sheet but in 48… need to start this…
