Frank Spahr Thank you both!

My modeling pals and I are on a bit of a 1:144 craze, so I on an impulse ordered this beast (which I´d never be able to build or house in a larger scale). I had been impressed by the Il-76´s layout and shape earlier and thought now was the time to tackle it.
I have several more 1:144 kits, nearly all of them smaller - save the mighty Tu-95 "Bear", which is larger yet than this one.
The model is sized around 30 cm in length and wingspan - large but still manageable.

Frank Spahr Thank you all! I´ve already opened the Bear´s box, maybe I´ll start the kit later this year. But I feel a nice ship project would be a good idea ...

Mike McCabe Nice work Frank. I also build some 144 aircraft, it is a sensible scale I think. I will post some photos

Frank Spahr Thank you all for the kind comments, folks! I got to admit I have the Tu-95 lined up for one of the next projects, also in 1:144 ...

Best regards

Frank
