USAF F-104C „Hellooo Dolly" - FINISHED

Some progress. The „Hellooo Dolly“ 104 had a blue rudder with stars on it. Tamiyas X-14 is quite a good match. A paint which I very rarely use ? 

Painting the blue-yellow striped part of the fin. It is part of the Caracal decal sheet but I prefer to have it painted by airbrush.  

Done. Lets move forward and proceed with painting the white underside. 

The armament has arrived! Together with some additional goodies for my Kinetic Mirage… 

Finally! The belly is sprayed in FS36622. I used Gunze acrylics thinned with Leveling Thinner and a few drops of Tamyia X22 Clear to avoid too much sprinkle. 

Visible parts of the wheel wells sprayed in Aluminium 

104 is coated in Tamiya X-22 Gloss Clear. Ready for Caracal Decals! 

Let’s start with the decals! 

Now with name tag. 

Decaling is finished. I already add some of the small parts before applying final clear varnish. 

Standing on its own feet…uuuhm I mean wheels… 

After a coat of semi gloss varnish final assembly begins. 

Things under wings. Preparing 2 x M117 (Eduard Brassin).
