Decals were a total disaster. Managed to salvage some after I learned about Liquid Decal Film, but almost all of them broke apart. Miraculously the side letters for the alternative plane on the sheet held up. Had to improvise and throw out recreating the livery of the plane I intended, but glad it turned out pretty neat and tidy. Learned a lot for this second build.

SlackbladderMe too. I spent a couple of weeks on Vancouver Island (nearly 20 years ago now...cough) and did my float plane rating in one of these. Not much use for it back in the UK but it was great fun.

RandoHi guys! Thanks for following my build, didn't turn out how I hoped but it looks nice at least. This is my second build after restarting the hobby after 15 years. Looking forward to building some 60s tactical navy jets next.

RandoYes just a heads up, those elaborate fuselage decals all broke up on me. I was going to build the floatplane version but with wheels. Not sure if the breaking decals were because they were old and exposed, but a layer or two of decal film might be worthwhile.
