Welcome Finn! I just ordered some mini circular saws on AliExpress. Will make life easier but I'll have to wait a few weeks.

Next up will be the edges so the bottom/sides of the plating will be hidden and a barrier will be created for the earthy/grassy patches (like in reff pic1).

Following as well. I've cobbled together an airfield out of these plates a while ago too and am always interested how others use them. Looking great so far ๐Ÿ‘

Thanks Rando! I really should continue it. Been tight on time since my third one was born. And prolly procrastinating as I've never done a proper base before ๐Ÿคฃ the t-90 grass base didn't come out to well. Any tips on grass without a static applier? Or should I just get and be done with it. ๐Ÿ˜‡

Procrastination is also my nemesis. It took me about a half year from acquiring the parts to actually building my base. For the grass no special tricks or tools. I just applied some multipurpose glue (don't remember which one, probably UHU) to the areas and then sprinkled the grass on top it. Let it dry and then carefully blow away any excess. Doesn't look the best or most realistic but works for me.
