Honestly? Why do you post stuff that would usually belong in a trash bin??

This is for my stock management
I restore old models kit
I don't know if it's possible to put these albums in private

@Damien: You can't ‚make' an album private. What you can do however is after you uploaded the pictures, go to your own 'wall' and click on the little trash bin in the top right corner of the album. This will not delete the album itself, but it will delete it from the 'news feed' until you upload new pictures to the same album. So once you have finished a restoration upload the pictures to the album and it will pitch up on the 'news feed' again for everybody to see. I for one am curious to see what you can do with those oldies 👍 🙂

@Hajo: Two thing… first: Stay calm & be kind. Second: "What would usually belong in the trash bin…." is highly debatable. I guess you wouldn't want somebody , to judge your work in this fashion?!

@sebastian: thank you very much for the info 🙂
it's cool.

I just love restoring old models and doing captured or little-known colors.
Right now I'm not interested in building a new super detailed kit where there is almost nothing to do.

you can see some restored models here

NB: I do this archiving for myself in order to optimize my production list. if some people don't like me what i do, it doesn't matter to me.

I'm definitely not a good model maker, but I like what I do

Sebastian Meyner 👍 I agree with you. You can always skip the submissions you don't like

I agree with Sebastian and Geert, here. Keep it up Damien! Your restoration work is really impressive.

I apologize if I sounded harsh, we do have different philosophies concerning displaying models. I consider a lot of my - especially older kits - not worth showing.
But I also never had the idea of restoring them, but bought new kits instead. So, I´m interested how Damiens restored kits will look like, since it´s something that I haven´t done myself and I´m curious to see how that works.

@Hajo, I fully understand your point of view, it is completely legitimate.
I decided to transfer (a small part) of my stock to scalemates in order to work more efficiently.
it's totally personal, now that i know how to keep it from showing up on the newsfeed you won't be bothered anymore.
I noticed that there is a big deficit of old models in the galleries of the site, I add more, it is a positive point.

Yes, it´s interesting to see those older kits - we usually focus on the brand new releases, but there are certain old kits that even today can keep up with the current standard.
