Overview of the kit for 2 aircraft: BD-5 (propeller) and BD-5J (jet). I wil build first 2 aircraft. The other 2 that came in the kit I will keep in the bag.

DISASTER!! Although the decals seem to be fine.. They were not. I will scan the set of spare decals from the other kits and make new ones on inkjet printer. Alternatively I will spray some transparent lacquer over the spare set, and try to apply them.

The covering of the original decals worked, and I could manage to apply them with minor problems.

After protecting with clear varnish, they are almost finishd. Just missed the pitot tube in the nose.

Here is a picture of the finished models, with a Q-tip by them for size comparison. I will keep the project/album open, as I will include the other 2 aircraft that came in the kit.

I got the same number of models in this package, one of the canopies, nevertheless, was not fully moulded...so only three could be build, or I should try to make one by myself...some day 😉

Album info

Building of BD-5's series airplanes on 1:72 Scale BD-5 propeller and BD-5J, jet powered. The kit came with actually 4airplanes, 2 of each type. I don't know if it was a mistake, or if it is the quantity that the factory includes.
