Fuselage halves glued together. Great fit, but some putty and sanding is needed for the front half of the plane.

Decided to try some AK real colors for this kit. Good paint, but too pricey for me to use regularly.

First decals. Wanted to try the walkway decals included in the decal set. They were ok, next time I will take the time to mask and paint them.

Don't know if it comes up in the image, but the decal tore just under the lightning bolt. This and another major decal tearing forced me to order a second set of decals.

thanks for the extra pictures.
about the walkways, I did replace them with masks when i did mine. i scanned the sheet, "cut" the walkways, and printed them in tamiya A4 masking sheet, cut them, place them and paint. you can also put the decal sheet over the masking sheet, and use a needle in the corners, join the dot and mask ready to be used 🙂
actually i was planning in replacing starts etc with masks... but Cartograph decals included were so good, that it is a pity not to use them 🙂
