Album info

The American Heritage Museum at the Collings Foundation explores major conflicts ranging from the Revolutionary War until today.

A treasure trove of armored vehicles, largely acquired from the Jacques Littlefield collection after his untimely passing. One item missing form the collection is the PzKpfW IV that remains in legal dispute over who was the "rightful" purchaser of that rare tank. The American Heritage Museum has a paid claim, but the Littlefield estate claims otherwise, with another party making purchase claims too.

Vehicles included in the photo essay are the Bf Me 109-G14, BMW-7R with side car, Borgward IV remote control demolition vehicle, FlAK-88, Hetzer, Kubelwagen, M2A1 Halftrack, M3 A75 Gun Motor Carriage, M3 Lee Light Tank, M3A1 Scout Car, M4 Sherman Turret cutaway, M4A3E8 Korea, M8 Armored Car Greyhound, M8 SP Howizter, M16 halftrack M45 Quad mount, M18 Carriage Gun Hellcat, M26, M29 Weasel, M39 Armored Utility Vehicle, M1917, PaK40 AT Gun, Panther Ausf A, Schwimwagen, SdKfz 2 Kleineskettenkraftrad, SdKfz 8, SdKfz 10 light carrier prime mover, SdKfz 222 Leichte Panzerspahwagen, SdKfz 251, StuG III, T34/76, T34/85, T55, and T62
