SCM Aggressor Group Build Fall 2019

Curring out flaps and slats, as these should be dropped on a parked aircraft

Cutting complete with only one bigger scratch to correct - I feared it would be worse

Cockpit almost done, just a subtle wash for the seats missing.

Ejection seats done 🙂

Preparing the Reskit engines.

Nozzles washed and drybrushed.

Hope the Reskit engines will boost the overall look.

Adding some lead balls to prevent the T-2 from being a tailsitter.

Adding cloth texture to front panel with white glue and a tissue.

Adding some wiring.

Fuselage and wings married and droped slats and flaps installed.

Ready for cleaning and priming.

Pre-shaded and the standard base paint applied. Next up decalling, then masking the decals and continue with the aggressor scheme 🙂

Finally found the time to continue my project. Time to mask of all the stencils prior to applying the 2 tone camouflage.

Camo basically done. Next up are roundels and serial to be sprayed.

Some basic fading done.

Stencils unmasked, almost all survived.

Masking time again...

Ahh, hehe - I expected way more scratches😉
I ordered 2mm halfround and 1 and 1,5mm quarters - I'll see what works best.
