Glenn I'm glad you decided to "mow the grass" from your sub. Looks better in clean condition! I guess the navy will be glad to see the end of these troublesome subs soon too!
Picked this up at the model expo for $15 which is about a third the original retail price. Lovely moulded low volume kit from an Aussie manufacturer. Went together with no putty and only a little sanding. Hardest parts were all the periscopes, snorkel and poking up bits. They were just butt joined to the top of the sail so took some time to get verticle. Plus the sprue locations on the prop screw were hard to trim off without breaking the prop blades, which I managed to do.
