Very cool choice. I think after my two planes I'm working on right now I'm going to do something different as well. Question is, What?

They are a cool bird. I have a "B" model and a "C" model both in 1/35 scale I want a "D or H" model. But I think the only company that makes them is Dragon, and it is mucho Derreno.

This one may have to go in the holding area, I did not know Eduard did a PE interior set for it, but found it last night. I think it is going to be a have to add.

Looks great to me.
I read about your fitting woes and I can only confirm that the fit on Academy/MRC models is "not good". Had the same problems on their Pavehawk.

I have built their UH-60L with the werner wings medevac interior, I had some minor fit problem with that one, but nothing like this one. I have the PaveHawk also.

I knew a guy from work who was a door gunner in Vietnam. Man did he have some stories. Makes me want to build a chopper

Clifford, it must have been something. I see you were a navy Corpsman. I also knew a guy were I worked who's son was a Navy Corpsman. He was in Afghanistan with the Marines.I only meat him a few times. He was a good golfer in High School and wanted to go Pro but joined the Navy. He was badly hurt in his Humvee when it hit a IED. He had his bell rung pretty good and was Discharged and was awarded the Purple Heart. This was in 2009. I dont know how is is doing today. Last I heard he was unable to work or go to school.

I have a Huey in 1/72. It's tiny! I think I want to get some 1/72 M134 Miniguns for the door gunner.

I don't know how you guys do anything in 1/72 scale. It's just too small for an old fart like me.

Very true. I am working on a set of 1/35 scale miniguns and they seem small.
