Yeah sorry to hear that mate! I know that airfix did do some reproductions of the 504K later on in the 80s.

QANTAS. Queensland And Northern Territory Aerial Service. Just in case some of you were unaware of how the name came about. 🙂 👍

Bit off topic but......
This Red Stripe kit is proper Holy Grail stuff, so I'd like to share it with a Mate on here, is that directly possible?

Munkyslut, pardon my ignorance but what do you mean by share it with a mate?

Hi Wilky
What I meant was this;
I saw this post on the Qantas red stripe kit that a mate on here would be really interested in too.
Can I share the post directly on to his wall?
Or 'tag' him like on social media platforms?

@Kerry "QANTAS. Queensland And Northern Territory Aerial Service."

There is another explanation for that acronym, but I won't go into that here!😉

I just purchased one of these on eBay. Hopefully the seller sends it to me

Munkyslut, i think the only way would be to copy the link to the post, and paste it in the wall of the person you want to have it.

Picked up the kit today from the Post Office.
So now I have Airfix's rarest kit (according to those in the know).

So I no longer have Airfix's rarest kit.
I was contacted through my YouTube channel and asked if I'd part with it.
I received an offer I couldn't refuse and now the kit is in Scotland and part of a collection of early Airfix kits
