Quick question.... who blocks Google Analytics via a Browser plugin? (no shame/blame question. just to understand my audience/visitors)

@Alberto: Excellent! I guess 3 reasons for ad blocking = faster websites, increased privacy and less annoying "play this game" ads?

I'm using AdBlock for Chrome as well as I run a similar adblocker for Youtube. Reason: Damn tired of all the pesky adverts on other sites. Worst is various newspapers that run more ads than news and it do slow everything down. I didn't feel that there was any problems with the ads here at Scalemates before I installed the plugin about a year ago.

FYI
We configured Google Analytics to anonymize your IP address.
All available data sharing settings in Google Analytics are disabled
No other Google Services are used in combination with our Google Analytics-cookies
We did not configure tracking of personal identifiers.
We configured Google Analytics to reduce _ga cookie time from 2 years to 6 months.
This is according to best practices (document from Dutch government) to have privacy friendly analytics.
