I bought this from MBK, but I think it came from stock elsewhere. Some politically-correct vandal had not only covered the swastikas with black stickers (thus defacing the photo reference sheet), but had also removed the swastika decals from the box. Sod’s law, that was the version I was hoping to build!

@Holger, I'll see how it goes together. I may just make it OOTB...other than the decals!
@HK, some of their older tooling is showing its age (I'm currently working on a venerable Tiger I from 1989, it's OK but needs aftermarket), but the BT-42 is relatively new and has had good reviews so it should go together nicely.
The only place where Tamiya sometimes let themselves down is...the decals! And that's not going to be a problem for me

That's weird, never seen anyone do it with Finnish ones, they are distinctly different to the German ones so it is odd.
I actually had the kit once, was not confident with the skill level I had at the time, so I posted it off to girlfriend in Australia, I kind of wish I had one to do now though.
