Finished Hobby Boss' A-10 after building two Tamiya A-10 kits that sat in my stash forever. Better detail since the molds aren't ancient like Tamiya's. Recessed panel lines, closed off nose landing gear bay, and way better stores to name a few improvements make this easily the better choice of the two. This kit fits together well, but if I build another, I might run a strip of styrene down the inside of the bottom fuselage half. The seam is long and though I got the top to align with no problem, the bottom was slightly off. Helped by a low parts count and no PE, it was a pretty easy build. Like I said about the Tamiya kit, it may not be a perfect replica of an A-10, but it looks like one to me - and that's good enough.

Good t hear you had fun with this Hog, I've got this kit in my stash as well and the tip about the styrene strip on the underside is most helpful, thanks for that. I was going to build mine with the snake had on the nose but that's a "C" variant and the HobbyBoss kit I believe is an "A" variant, so I might to her in experimental camo scheme. Do have any pics?

No, but I might get around to it since you asked. Yeah, because the bottom is so flat with tons of recessed detail, having a slightly misaligned fuselage on the bottom was hard to correct. I wasn't 100% successful, but since no one is ever going to pick it up, I can live with it. Have fun with your build. I'm knocking out all my A aircraft in my stash so onto an A-1, A-3, and an A-4 and then I'm done.

Cool, yeah don't be shy gives a look at her, I know when I build a model I don't have enough fingers to count for all the mistakes I make on them, I just try to hide them. Since I build now for me and not commission I'm just trying to pump them out a bit quicker than I used to. Also helps knowing I don't have any intention anymore in going into comps. At the moment I'm trying to reduce my Phantom II stash, I think last count there were at least 25 to 35 of them all in 1/48 and all Hasegawa or Academy. Just about got my Greek F-4 done.😄
