Yeah, it's pretty insane! Couldn't resist adding that photo as it really helps illustrate how diminutive some of these light tank designs were!

Album info

Soviet Army T-40 amphibious tank used during WW2. Built out the box with no extras or scratch built items. Decals replaced by hand painting markings. Model airbrushed using Tamiya acrylics for main body colours. All detailing hand painted with acrylics. Weathering using hairspray layer technique. Mud, rust, soot and dust effects using Humbrol and Tamiya weathering powders. Oil and fuel stain effects using Citadel Miniatures acrylics. First AFV attempted using an airbrush and weathering powders for mud effects.
The bulk of the subassembly work was completed in March 2020, and the model was put aside until I had my dedicated work space completed in August 2020, upon which I started on the paintwork and final build.
