DoubtingmangoGreat looking brothers! Really like the camo on the T-28. I've been wanting to build a T-28. How did you like Zvezda's kit?

Palo MThank you Doubtingmango. Zvezda is not my favorite plastic - as you probably know, it's quite soft. Personally, I don't like how it behaves when scraping / sanding. On the other hand, it comes together very well and details are good yet not with a too large number of pieces. I think they did very well with both of these kits.
For the T-28, I added a metal gun barrels (main gun as well as machine guns) - especially the machine guns look much better than what was in the kit. I also added the detail set from Microdesign - makes a difference, but I only used the largest pieces as I dislike working with PE.
Negatives, apart from the type of plastic, are minor:
1. The sprues don't specify the "letter" - each part has their number, but for letters, you either mark the sprues, or look up the first page of the manual. This gets old quickly.
2. The camouflage guides are minimal - only shows the front and one side. Best look up pictures online or from a book. I used a book from Ammo Mig about soviet camos in WW2.
3. Consider replacing the towing cables.
I would say - go for it. It is a fun build, especially once you get through all the wheels and suspension 🙂 .

Palo MThank you, Slavo, Simon and another bob 🙂 . I'm glad I built both of these and could take the side-by-side photos, to really appreciate the size difference. The T-35 must have been a sight in real life.
