Interesting to see how models were
that many years ago
It would be cool to restore it but I think this is part of history
And best left as it is for all to see
I don't think you will find many of that model around anymore

Thanks, guys; as you can see, that was also before Micro Set/Micro sol for the decals, definitely no clearcoat before or after the decals and in spite of a multitude of house/ country relocations the build is pretty much as completed all those years ago!

Well, JV, of course we never think about where our builds will end up - in fact, many of my early ones were "destroyed in combat" (kids will be kids!) or else they "disappeared" during the early moves, but yes, I have been able to hang on to a handful of them. I was able to replace quite a few of the aircraft from my pre-teen days by purchasing part of a collection from a deceased estate in 1990, mainly of Airfix with some Frog kits. Guess I always had a plan to get back into modelling.
