JD Hey great job! You're inspiring me to get back to work on my time machine project, but where's the Flux capacitor?

Christian W Very good! The rims looking great. All the details are also nice and fine painted.

Starbase101 Why does this say "Scratchbuilt" when it's stated as being the Aoshima kit? Also, it would seem no topic has been assigned to this photoalbum because it doesn't show up in a filtered newsfeed. It's buried under "To be classified".
23. July, 04:23
Spanjaard because the album is associated to a project that has no kit on it. without kit, there is no classification. no kit=scratchbuilt
John Flannery If you make an error on the build can you go back (in time) and rectify it ?
23. July, 08:35
Geert Heijl Thanks for all the compliments, and my apologizes to Starbase 101; my buildingskills are a little better than my computerskills, but I listened to John and went back in time and rectified the album by adding the kit.
@Spajaard: for the plutonium chamber. I painted the base in chrome, then a bit of thin yellow from above to below and a little thin red from below to above, so I got the 'burning / ligthing look.

Starbase101 No worries, Geert - I wasn't complaining, they were merely questions being asked. I am your opposite, with my computer skills being better than my building skills. Your Delorean is looking really good.

i agree with Starbase101, looking good
Nigel Superb build and paintwork there, Geert! Gives me inspiration for my (far less detailed) Revell 1:24, which needs a fair amount of work to bring it anywhere close to this standard!
I loved the box of champagne!

Ron Dyson WOW , this is beautiful . This is the altimate in detail and determination "SCRATCHBUILT" .You can't beat that . I've been after a 1/12 Bentley , "kit" for years . one day! lol
Congratulations on this magnificent work. Cheers

Chaz Gordon Nice, That dash is particularly amazing. Is that Kit detail or added?
Geert Heijl @ all: thanks for the compliments, it was a lot of pleasure to build this one.
@ Chaz: the dash is partly me and partly kit. At the 2 glass bulbs I added a drop of yellow paint and a copper pipe, because in real heretrough fluids the petrol and the (co)driver ca see if there is any filth in the petrol. Als the big brown handle is added (waterpump for hot water for tea during the ride) it is not a joke, i visited an owner inmy neighbourhoos whos has this in his Bentley. The rest is precisly painting.
@Ron: just beginning and continuing and continuing and continuing ........
@Nigel: anothe dutch Bentley Ownes has this on his Bentley, first the joy of drinking than practically for the tools. I choosed the Rotschild brand, we go fotr the best ...
