Album info

This is an album of my first project after 8 year long pause in scale modelling. Even though I encountered a lot of issues with the model itself (especially tracks) I managed to get the best out of it. As it is, this model is supposed to represent a KV-1 tank of an unknown unit at the Ukrainian battlefield in 1941. In the havoc of fighting and destruction in Ukrainian villages this tank was abandoned and partially stripped for parts. In the diorama a field toilet is also included with pieces of newspaper showing a photo of Stalin and an urge for resistance. This symbolic diorama is intended to represent a struggle of Ukrainian people in those times while being clinched between 2 destructive forces. The contents and the title of the diorama are not intended to cast a negative light on Ukraine and its people, but on the contrary have a symbolic and dual hidden meaning.
