Michael HickeyFirst layer, needs some touch ups here and there and then another spray, then I'll do some fine sanding to her. First car I've done since my teenage years.🙂

Michael HickeyThanks James, I used Vallejo Air "Artic Blue" but I'm not happy with the color and have already rubbed her back. I'll spray her grey to even her all out, then I'll paint her black with a metallic fleck in it. Then that's when my idea should bring her to life. 😉

Michael HickeyYeah, I've resprayed her in her new color but she isn't as dark as I was hoping for, got one more trick up my sleeve.😢

Michael HickeyWhen I sprayed her the second time going for a metallic black finish she came out looking like gunmetal. So I got Vallejo Air "Signal Red" out, another metallic color and sprayed it straight over the top. It's now got the metal fleck in her that I was looking for, now time to get creative.😄

Chris GreathouseI think this kit just went up in my wishlist, very cool looking and would fit nicely next to my Daihatsu Midget. I like both colors, but I'm a blue guy... so yeah 😛 Also going to pick up 71.181 Metallic Colors, Vallejo Model Air , Acrylic, 16x 17ml , which has 16 metallics including that red and blue you used, I love me some metallics. Great start so far!

Michael HickeyThanks Chris, I have all those colors in that set except for the wood and fluorescent red. I'm usually a blue guy myself, but it I wasn't feeling it. This metallic rose/pink is a bit more off the beaten track and I have a couple of other custom tricks up my sleeve that I want to try out. Hopefully plan A will work but if that fails I have a back up plan B.😢

Bob HallGreat Work indeed ! But is it just me, or does this car look like a Honda S2000 and a Bugatti Veyron hooked up in the back of a parking lot and this was the result ? LOL !
