Dear John 😄 ...perhaps. but i have a couple old beetles in my stash for other projects. only more time needed...you know what i mean?
The same problem as other guys in our hobby "can whistle a sound of" (too much ideas, too much unbuild kits, less time)

Beetles every time a favorite to look at and sometimes to play around with - a lot of different, authentic builds possible. Like this one.
Also a "Cannonball"-built for the Modelcarsmagazin Forum. The engine is from a Fujimi Porsche 356, wired and perfect matched in the enginebay without cutting and such stuff.
Other changes are slidingroof, onepiece windows, Porsche wheels, lowered suspension front / rear with the right "beetle stance" 😎 and narrowed front axle...as seen, all the stuff, old beetles go on the road to kick some *** 😄
At last, two tone paint and cleaned pumpers.
