Hello,
This is a few pictures of my last build : the Lancaster Nose, from HK Models (1/32).
I' think I' was too hurry when I' bought this kit, I' should have wait for more advice and review.... This kit is really disappointing, in a way that a lot of details are missing.
HK Models have missed out a lot of details everywhere in the cockpit, which is a shame for a kit suppose to focus on the cockpit.
For example, there is almost no wiring or piping. The radio boxes are well represented, but without wires. To bring this cockpit to a decent level of details, you will need a lot of documentation and work. On the other end, if you close the canopy, a lot of details will be hidden (and that's basically what I' choose to do).
By the way, a "clear half fuselage" is included in the kit..... I' guess this was suppose to allow seeing the interior, but I' found it totally useless.
There is a few fitting issues, but nothing insurmountable.
Eventually, this kit is not as interesting as I' fought it would be when I' bought it..... and I'm glad I' didn't bought the entire Lancaster kit...!!
Anyway, this an odd kit on the display....
