Nice work, love the weathering. You know by any chance the function of the little teeth on top of the spinner?

Outstanding work!! Very cool Owl. The things on the spinner provide aerodynamic power for the variable pitch of the propeller.

Wonderful. Can you explain how you applied the winter camo?

Those little teeth on the hub cap of the propellers is a (rudimentary) constant speed unit or CSU. It takes care of maintaining the propeller speed regardless of the aircraft's speed while decellerating, accelerating, etc. Nowadays it is a built in unit (hariguchi.org/flying/info/prop.html).

Hi guys, the winter camo was done using the "hairspray" technic.. (popularised by the tank modellers...). The kit is from Great Wall Hobby(1/48)
