A Mirage F1 fighter, as flown by mercenary pilot Kitori Palvanaff, in the 2004 anime "Area 88".
the model will be a Mini Hobby model 1/144 Mirage F1 (rebox of old Minicraft kit). decals will be DIY.

earlier this week i installed the landinggear and the engine nozzle, then i sprayed on a light coat of varnish to prepare the surface for decals.
today, i just finished putting on the decals, it looked a little bald so i added some stenciling i had leftover from a Revell Alpha Jet. pictures will be posted as soon as the clear varnish is dryed up.
at this point, its pretty much finished.

Greg BakerWhat do you think of this kit? I had a thought to add a couple of Mirages to my list of A88 projects. It looks pretty good considering what you've done with it.

Nils SteyaertGreg, its not that bad, its basicly a rebox of the older Minicraft kit. simple, but still pretty decent. also comes with various weapons options.

Nils Steyaertimages have been uploaded, i sourced some sidewinders and sparrow missiles from the spares box, as depicted in Kitori's first appearance in the anime.
