Nils Steyaert Work on this project has begun, although the tiptanks wont be as accurate, i will make other modifications to make it closely resemble an F-5A variant. i will only build this project to a certain stage, as decals for the serials are not yet printed.
Edgars Bizūns Nice work, mate! Paintwork and decals look really nice considering the size of the model! Got this kit in my mind aswell, how was the fit? Only thing that seems underdetailed for me is the thick canopy and thin wheel bays..

Nils Steyaert the fit is alright, although it does require some filling arround the wing joints.
its not finished yet, still need to do some work on the canopy and i have to make replacement decals as the fuselage serials (the large number 142) were damaged when i applied them.
Nils Steyaert ok, i started this project
cockpit parts have been painted and are drying, also the launchrails on the wingtips have been corrected, as these are moulded inside out. armament will be a pair of dummy AIM-9M's (orange dayglo with black seaker) and a dayglo centerline droptank.

Nils Steyaert Finished.
although the overall kit is quite good, the decals do have some flaws if you built the Swiss version like i have.
the serials on the tail and the roundels are a bit too small and the bort numbers on the nose are not on the sheet.
i will have to make these myself and add them on a later date.

Dave Flitton Watching! I remember seeing these in Switzerland in the 80's
Nils Steyaert work has begun, starting with the intakes.
it took me all morning but i think i got the shape just about right, just need to find some intake cones,
a pair of F-16 droptank halves will do nicely i think.
