the Blue is on, the first masking will be removed when dry, then the second masking will be applied for the white paint.

Just curious... why not paint the white first and then mask for blue? Obviously this one is on my list, so I'm curious if one way works better than the other...

Greg, at this small scale, masking in a different order is a bit harder, also if i keep the tape on too long, the adhesive will be harder to remove, same goes for the Maskol on the front part. it will become clearer in the next set of photo's.

Okay. I usually try to paint white first and then mask that for any other colours on top. I never have any luck painting white over something else, so I'm keen to see how you accomplish this.

mostly, i start of with a fine layer of matt paint, followed by a layer of gloss.
