Really good diorama from a really good movie! 👍
Top dio and photography! Everything just right! 👍
Very nice work 👍
Oohhhh....cool Dave! I can picture the Black Hawk above them providing some support.
Right on! Thanks for the comments guys.
Thanks Ken. A Black Hawk eh? That would be cool. Say, if you check the movie frame photo you will see palm leaves on the left side of the frame. Did you have a source for palm leaves or did I dream that?
Hey Dave...search for Palm Leaves on Scalemates and you will be AMAZED!
Whoops, sorry Dave...I meant Palm "Tree" on Scalemates. J's work looks like it may work for you.
Nothing 'static' about this scene - full of tension and potential menace....

Nice one Dave! I like the weathering you have done on the low-sided gondola. One question; is the Flak heavy enough to be just laid into the gondola or would it be blocked in so the whole base wouldn't move?
I'm sure your right that it would need some blocking. This base was from the Opel Blitz build I just did and I threw it in to see. It was also suggested that I upgrade from this "pea-shooter" to something more substantial. Ultimately the gondola car will be paired with Triebwagen 51 so maybe more bang is required. We can put this forward as a topic of discussion for our next coffee🙂
Beautiful paintjob 👍
Good Morning, Dave The rail car and flak contrasting wood finishes give interest to the theme. The three wood finishes are all accomplished with outstanding results. The kit decals add to the rail car completion and look to be laid in excellently. Thanks for sharing the build. Catch Ya, Logan

That's easy. Soviet Cobra=like????
Definitely a nice Aircobra. I love the overpainted areas where the old insignia was located.
Excellent work, very clever paint effects.
Very good work Dave!
Clean work and excellent paint job 👍
Nice one Dave!
WOW, that's stunning!
Great build 🙂
Very realistic paint work

Good looking Opel Blitz!
Perfect wiper marks 👍
Good Morning, Dave Very impressive Opel, the glass is perfect, the weathering is spot on, love the eye candy!!!! Outstanding level of photography. What did you shoot the pic's with???? Catch Ya, Logan
Cool Blitz, nice subtle weathering 👍 Is this a Dragon 1/35 Kit?
Yes Rui S, it is. It is their Smart Kit that comes with a 2cm Flak 38.
Hey, thanks Logan! A fun build all around to be sure. The pics were taken with a Cannon PowerShot S10

No, I couldn't find your message. Where should I be looking?
Hi Dave! Here is my original post on Logan's wall:
Hey Logan! Search for T-Model and check out their German flatcars in 1/35th scale. Might be something you are into? Ken
If you want to read Logan's response, click on Logan's pic and scroll down until you see my post and subsequently, his.

Right on. These are beauties. The 50 ton might find its way to the stash. Like the rail stuff but they are big. Nice price from Hobbylink as well. Thanks.

Woh. Beautiful work and model 👍
I have the Hobbycraft kit. How is the Academy kit?
Thank you. It is the Same kit as academy kit I believe. Doesn't seem like the cockpit is overly accurate, I added aftermarket seats and belts and scratch built some of the frame. Otherwise the kit is pretty straightforward.
Just saw that- beautiful and most inspiring! Great work!
Well done mate 👍

Clean and careful work. I like this one.
Thank you. I kept weathering to a minimum as the Me 262 is a A-1b version with BMW 003 engines. One of 3 that were tested. Probably wasn't a lot of wear and tear on this plane.
I do like that!
Good Morning, Dave Love all three elements of the project. Tractor, Me-262 and base. Like the added interest of the difference of weathering between the Hanomag SS-100 and the Me-262. Please bring it to Modelpalooza for show & tell. Catch Ya, Logan
Looks awesome Dave! I love the concrete that solidifies the whole scene! The models are no slouches either!
Good Afternoon, Dave & Ken.....Ken, "concrete that solidifies" love the line, L.O.L. I'll buy coffee for that one, pure gold or should I say, cement!!! Catch Ya, Logan
Thanks guys. Lol.
that is a beautiful 262 dio.
