Thanks ekki, Its almost finished. A few bits to do on the Djinn but I'm also in the process of making a vignette / base for it. Nothing exciting, some rocks and a few penguins. Working on the snow just now. Thanks for your interest. It's a nice little kit, very fiddly (the canopy was tricky, 3 parts and the top section is quite thin) but so far it's been enjoyable.

Please add more pics once you're ready. Also, I would like to know how the built went.

Thank you all very much. I'll try and add some more photos later. I didn't take much WIP photos but Inthink I might have a couple (will have to check). Regarding the build ekki. It's been a slow one (couple of hours here and there). It looks harder than one would think if I'm honest. It does require a fair bit of patience and a steady hand! The clear part where quite tricky. Also, I read elsewhere that it's advisable to paint the cab section and apply the decals ("VU"😢 before gluing the framework to the cab section (if that makes sense? The stabilisers are quite fragile and in hindsight I should have strengthened then with some thin rod. It takes a bit of planning of what sections to build up, then paint, then glue together. I'm concerned about fitting the engine and whether it will fit correctly... Time will tell!!

Again, thanks for the interest
Cheers Aaron

Sorry I rephrase. It's looks harder to build than it actually is. Apart from what I mentioned, it Went together quite well (so far). The instructions where a bit confusing in places so if you do plan on building then get plenty of photo references! I found some good ones on a Russian modeling forum. Just googled SO 1221 djinn in google images

Thank you very much for the additional info.
I was only asking because I love early helicopters and I've got this one in my stash too. Thanks again.
