John E 800 structures burned, and 550 were homes. However, none were in my neighborhood. When we evacuated, there were 500 firefighters battling the fire. Now, there are over 2000, some from as far away as New Jersey! I'm extremely grateful to all our great first responders.

wilky That's a lot of homes.
Those poor people have to deal with the virus and now being homeless.
John E Thanks for all your support, mates. It means a lot!

John E Hi Mark. We are back but I'm in Santa Cruz County. Hope all is well with you and yours. Is your home safe?

Mark DeBacker Hi John. Yes, did not have to evacuate, but worked in the County Emergency Operations Center here. Things are moving into recovery vs. response here. It was a close call for Healdsburg a few miles north.

John E Glad to hear it, Mark. I was watching the fire maps and saw how close it was to Healdsburg. The firefighters did an unbelievable job getting all these fires under control. The number of lightning complex fires In CA is insane.
