not that bad 🙂
but you should drybrush the metallic parts (MG42, tracks, some tools) with some graphit powder (you can scape this off from a pencil for example), it creates a more matallic look

@Fabian........yep I missed the machine gun and tools with the graphite powder; I use AK-066 "Dark Steel"....there's quite a bit of it around the manlet...I'll be sure to hit those tools and MG, thanks for the heads up!
William.....the zimm is milliput and made painting this thing a might tricky as the painting technique I usually employ simple did not work.......This pig of a build was really an exercise in mapping....

Thanks guys! What a goofy kit! I mean, there's parts on the box art that are shown differently on the instructions; parts on the box art that don't exist in the instructions, etc........here's a quote from Bill Plunk from Armorama armorama.com/modules..&topic_id=116971 regarding the "Imperial Series" from Dragon: "Imperial Series kits are all in the 9000 numbering range. They are older kits as mentioned that often use part or all of previously released kits to put them out under the DML label. They are not up to the same standards as the modern Smart Kit releases but can still be built up into good models. There are many subjects covered under the Imperial Series that aren't available in more modern form, at least no yet!
For an Imperial Series kit, be prepared for more mold seams, lesser or softer detail in many cases, and no goodies like Magic Tracks, metal barrels, PE, etc. I have quite a few of the Imperial Series kits in the stash with the full intention of building them at some point in the future...only a very small number of actually been made redundant by recent releases over the last couple of years."

Lovely StuG. The Zimmerit looks good also, especially since it's made out of milliput.

Album info

Dragon 9038.........a goofy kit........some missing parts, some sub assemblies on the box art not included in the intstructions.....poor fit of the upper hull to lower hull...etc.....if not for the scratch zim, it would however, been fairly easy.....
